Golfer’s paradise, let’s just admit it, this place is an ideal place to live and be a golfer.  Anyone who has ever been fascinated with the game of golf has definitely heard of Pebble Beach and/or watched one of the many fantastic tournaments.

I must say though, I think people have a skewed sense of what the community of Pebble Beach truly is. For the most part, it is comprised of mid century, modest homes. Obviously there are the mansions, the gated, huge estates and fabulous ocean view properties but for the most part the homes are modest with some being remodeled and others in their original state.

For me, the true beauty of Pebble Beach is in the natural, geographical dynamics. The hillsides and valleys dropping into the rocky shores of the Pacific Ocean make Pebble Beach a one of kind location. The groves of Pines, Cypress, Oaks and the occasional Redwood add depth to Pebble Beach. One of my favorite things to do when it’s foggy is to drive or walk in the woods and along the coast. Then turning the corner, through the fog coming to one of the many Golf courses, smothered in mist always makes me feel as if i am in Scotland, the birthplace of the game.
